Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer role within JPMorgan Chase in Asset & Wealth Management, focused on architecting and delivering scalable Java full-stack solutions on AWS serverless to support Private Bank Client Onboarding, mentoring teams in cloud-native development, microservices, and SRE practices, collaborating with product managers and compliance to translate wealth-management requirements into robust technical solutions, improving operational stability, and advancing testing strategies and secure production code. The role emphasizes leadership in communities of practice, adoption of cutting-edge technologies, and leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate software delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s) and framework - java, Spring, Typescript, React/Angular, Python.
- Experience in Relational and NoSQL polyglot technologies.
- Practical experience in building cloud native applications using AWS serverless components.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle including agile methodologies.
- Advanced understanding of CI/CD, Application Resiliency and SRE.
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical architecture using microservices and event-based systems.
- Leverages AI-powered development tools and generative AI technologies to accelerate code generation, enhance productivity, improve code quality, and drive innovation in software delivery.
