Job Summary
Develop Java services for end-to-end derivative product processing and build C#/WPF and JavaScript front-end desktop applications to interface with backend systems. Design robust, secure APIs for data persistence and business logic while driving team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed. Lead integration with external vendors and innovative AI/ML autopricers to extend platform connectivity, ensuring global cloud deployment across AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker environments. Participate in code reviews, share knowledge within the agile team, and apply disciplined testing and deployment practices to support the firm's business objectives in a fast-paced, global setting.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- Advanced applied experience in Java
- Strong OO design skills
- Good knowledge of object modelling and design patterns
- Experience with development, deployment and maintenance of commercial service oriented application(s)
- Disciplined approach to code management, testing and deployment practices
- High quality delivery
- Understanding of how to effectively utilize unit testing
- Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools
- Ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows
- Experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption within delivery practices
- Great problem solving skills
