Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer responsible for Java-based microservices in cloud environments, delivering secure, high-quality production code, reviewing peers, and troubleshooting. Drive architectural discussions, vendor evaluations, and adoption of new technologies. Mentor communities of practice and collaborate across global teams to improve operational stability, CI/CD, security, and front-end interfaces using HTML/JavaScript/React.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 7+ years applied experience
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Hands-On coding in Java
- Micro Services
- Spring Boot
- Kubernetes

- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones
- Developing web front ends using HTML / JavaScript / React
