Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within Asset and Wealth Management Technology, responsible for executing creative software solutions, developing secure production-grade Java/Spring Boot microservices on AWS, reviewing code, driving operational stability, leading architectural evaluation with vendors and internal teams, and advancing communities of practice while fostering diversity and inclusion. Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced hands-on development experience in Java
- Experience with AWS Services such as ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, Kinesis, EC2, CloudWatch
- Experience with Databases
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
