Lead Software Engineer on JPMorganChase AMLKYC Product team responsible for driving design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable software. Core duties include delivering production-grade Java applications with Spring/Spring Boot, leveraging AWS and APIs, evaluating architectures with external vendors and internal teams, leading communities of practice, driving platformization using automation and AI, and mentoring engineers while fostering an inclusive team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- 8+ years professional software engineering experience
- 8+ years Java experience
- 8+ years experience with Spring & Spring Boot and API development
- Development experience in AWS/public cloud
- Experience with Kafka and Cassandra/NoSQL
- Experience using AI solutions and automation
- Hands-on experience across SDLC
- Proficiency in CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Knowledge of financial services IT systems
