Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer in Asset Management Trading Technology responsible for designing, building, and evolving high-performance Java platforms that manage orders and execute trades across asset classes. Collaborate with Traders to automate the order-management lifecycle, architect scalable components, implement messaging/streaming with Kafka and AMPS, drive GenAI integration within the development workflow, and lead code reviews while mentoring the team. Focus on delivering reliable, scalable systems through fast, iterative delivery and continuous improvement, contributing to a culture of excellence and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience designing and building end-to-end software systems
- Strong knowledge of core Java and object-oriented design principles
- Experience with messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka
- Solid understanding of modern software architecture and design patterns
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Traders and Quants
