Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer on JPMorgan Chase's mobile authentication team, responsible for guiding an agile group of engineers through design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable native iOS and Android applications. Provides direction, coaching, and accountability for resource planning, budgeting, and process improvements. Collaborates across teams and stakeholders to ensure secure, high-quality production code, architecture artifacts, and robust security practices. Drives data visualization and reporting from large data sets to inform continuous improvement. Requires strong proficiency in Swift/Objective-C/Java/Kotlin, RESTful APIs, Keychain/Wallet security standards, Xcode, UI fundamentals, and modern SDLC/CI/CD practices.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years of applied experience
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficiency in at least one mobile language stack (Swift/Objective-C for iOS; Java/Kotlin for Android)
- Experience with RESTful API integration
- Experience with security standards (Keychain, Wallet, Apple security)
- Experience with unit testing (Xcode unit tests) and UI test automation (Gherkin)
- Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
- Experience with large codebases and managing shared resources/libraries
