Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, scalable way, with emphasis on building modern web UIs in React and RESTful APIs in Java/Spring Boot. Responsibilities include end-to-end UI/API integration, defining API contracts, collaborating on architecture, optimizing data payloads and caching, implementing monitoring and observability, and contributing to engineering communities. The role involves full-stack development across UI and API layers, cross-functional collaboration with data/platform teams, exposure to Kubernetes and event streaming (Kafka or equivalents), deployment to primarily private cloud environments, mobile (Android/iOS), and AI/ML service integrations.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven full-stack experience across web, application, and data layers with emphasis on: Front end – React; Back end – Java and Spring Boot; Databases – SQL/NoSQL; RESTful services and microservices; testing, version control, and CI/CD
