Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer, Fullstack (Salesforce) to oversee a team of engineers building and scaling Salesforce-based CRM/workflow solutions for Grab's B2B Commercial Systems. You will define technical requirements, drive architectural decisions, oversee the full software lifecycle, establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, optimize performance and security, stay updated on emerging technologies, contribute to technology strategy, and manage timelines and deliverables for high-quality releases. Strong emphasis on Java, JavaScript, APEX (Salesforce), React, Node.js, Django, AI/LLM tooling, cloud platforms, and distributed system design; role is onsite at Grab's Petaling Jaya office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 7+ years of fullstack development experience
- Expertise in Java, JavaScript, and APEX (Salesforce)
- Proficiency with React, Node.js, and Django
- Experience with AI & Generative AI including prompt engineering, RAG, and deploying AI-driven workflows
- Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with shift-left testing (unit/integration/automated)
- Strong DevOps/CI-CD and SDLC knowledge
- Excellent system architecture and scalable distributed system design
- Familiarity with Agile practices
- Experience applying AI to automate commercial workflows or sales intelligence
- CRM systems experience
