Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack for Therapist Success at Charlie Health. Build high-quality, scalable features using React, Python, and PostgreSQL to empower therapists with better tools and data, lead a cross-functional engineering team, leverage AI/ML to enhance clinician-facing and client-facing workflows, and help drive measurable clinical outcomes in behavioral health. Role emphasizes ownership of engineering processes, mentoring teammates, and delivering mission-critical features that connect potential clients with life-saving mental health care. On-site 4 days/week for NYC-commute candidates; hybrid arrangement for this location with consideration for remote work for others in the US. Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience developing user facing web or mobile applications
- Expertise in Python
- Experience with React
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience using modern AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code)
- Ability to manage ambiguity and break down complex problems
- Growth mindset and collaborative, humorous attitude
- Willingness to work onsite 4 days/week for candidates within 75-minute commute of NYC office
