Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack role within JPMorgan Chase's Consumer and Community Banking API Marketplace. Lead agile team in delivering trusted, market-leading technology products; provide technical guidance; drive adoption of innovative technologies; mentor junior developers; develop secure, production-quality code; iterate on design and implementation amid ambiguous requirements; proficient in TypeScript/React, Java 8+, REST/microservices, Spring Boot, and cloud-native environments (AWS/GCP/private cloud); strong SDLC practices, design systems, and CI/CD workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Advanced skills in Java 8+ for distributed application development, REST, microservices, and Spring Boot
- Experience developing cloud-native applications (AWS, GCP, private cloud)
- Familiarity with SDLC practices (Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment)
- Experience with design systems and version control systems (Git)
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability
- Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
