Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology responsible for delivering secure, scalable software solutions across multiple technical areas. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and troubleshooting innovative software solutions; producing secure, high-quality production code and reviewing others' code; identifying opportunities to automate remediation and improve operational stability; leading evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architecture and feasibility; leading communities of practice to promote new technologies; contributing to an inclusive team culture and diversity initiative; and applying knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, security, and modern programming languages (e.g., React, Java, Spring Boot) in a large corporate environment.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Proficient in Front-End UI programming such as React
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
- Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (cloud, AI, ML, mobile, etc.)
