Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer - Full Stack role focusing on Java/React/AWS. Responsible for designing and implementing secure production-grade software across multi-cloud environments, delivering UI with React/HTML/CSS, Java/Spring Boot microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs, and AWS deployments; guides architectural design, mentors engineering teams, drives adoption of new technologies, and contributes to reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient product operations across platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced experience building user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
- Proficiency with frontend tooling and build systems (Webpack, Vite, npm)
- Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Demonstrated design sensibility and attention to visual detail
- Working knowledge of testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress
- Ability to convert wireframes and Figma designs into clean, maintainable code
- Hands-on experience designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with customer-facing applications
- Experience with micro-frontend architecture
- AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect or Cloud-Ops Engineer
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, etc.)
- Exposure to AI tools for developers
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (cloud, AI, ML, mobile)
