Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer to drive the technical vision for GrowthZone's platform, mentor engineers, and own domain architecture. You will unblock teammates on backend problems, collaborate with product and design to ensure engineering trade-offs are well understood, and coach engineers to grow autonomy and responsibility. Expect to ship predictably with fewer surprises, reduce high-severity incidents, improve engineering velocity, and shape practices that extend beyond the immediate team. Requires 8+ years of software engineering, 2+ years leading scrum teams, strong .NET Core/C# with ASP.NET MVC/Web API and SQL Server, frontend skills (jQuery, HTML, CSS, and a modern JS framework), and experience using AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and code quality.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years leading scrum teams
- Deep proficiency in .NET Core with C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and SQL Server
- Frontend fluency in jQuery, HTML, CSS, and at least one modern JavaScript framework
- Experience leveraging AWS or a comparable cloud platform
- Experience applying AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and quality
