Job Summary
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of complex, secure software systems for enterprise-grade legal automation platforms. Define robust architectures that support scalable, cloud-agnostic solutions while maintaining stringent security and compliance standards. Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers to foster continuous learning within the team. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and global stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions for Fortune 500 clients. Lead the engineering team in building Agentic AI-driven workflows, driving innovation in Generative AI applications for legal risk management and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Extensive hands-on experience in software development
- Track record of leading complex projects
- Track record of leading engineering teams
- Strong proficiency in distributed systems
- Strong proficiency in cloud computing
- Strong proficiency in backend architecture
- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
- Ability to tackle scalability, performance, and system design challenges in large-scale environments
- Proven ability to lead teams
- Proven ability to influence technical direction
- Proven ability to drive engineering excellence across the organization
- Work from our Bangalore office
- Actively collaborate with the Palo Alto team
Desired Qualifications
- Masters preferred
- Familiarity with working with Azure and AWS cloud
- Interest or background in legal tech or similar high precision AI application development
- Prior experience with early-stage AI startups
- Drive to tackle complex, novel problems
