Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer in Equities Prime Securities Lending Technology focused on designing and delivering scalable, secure software across multiple domains. Responsibilities include building and troubleshooting production-grade code, developing user interfaces and APIs, driving architectural evaluations, leading communities of practice, and contributing to a culture of inclusion. Key skills include Java/Spring Boot, Python, microservices, RESTful APIs, cloud technologies, SQL/Oracle, front-end (C#, React), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven), and observability tools; experience in large enterprise data processing, security, and production stability is required.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Experience in software development of Micro services with Java, Spring Boot, Python
- Experience with cloud technologies and distributed systems, RESTful APIs and web technologies
- Hands-on experience designing and building enterprise-scale, high-volume data processing applications using SQL databases such as Oracle
- Knowledge of Restful Web Services, WebSockets/JSON
- Advanced Proficiency in front-end languages and libraries (e.g., C#, React) and back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Spring, Python)
- Proficient in SDLC and automation/CI/CD
- Experience with build and integration tools (JIRA, Maven, Git, Jenkins, GitHub, BitBucket)
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes (cloud, AI, ML)
- Awareness of security and resiliency practices
- Leadership in architectural discussions and communities of practice
