Job Summary
Lead DevSecOps Engineer within Nike's AI, Platform Engineering & DevX (APEX) to own the DevOps area for Business Intelligence Platform applications. Design, automate, and operate secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, embedding security across the development lifecycle. Provide technical leadership across multiple teams, drive infrastructure and tooling improvements, and ensure scalable, compliant deployments. Responsibilities include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline), configuring AWS infrastructure with IaC, enforcing security gates, governing hybrid deployments, working with Docker/Kubernetes (EKS/ECS), and guiding cross-functional teams. Also responsible for monitoring performance, optimizing costs (AWS Savings Plans/RI), and maintaining technical runbooks and documentation. Desirable certifications include AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP/CCSP, etc.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps experience in enterprise-scale environments
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and/or Ansible
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Fargate)
- Ability to integrate security tooling (SAST, DAST, IaC scanning, container scanning, dependency management) and automated remediation
- Strong understanding of security best practices, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with SRE practices (SLOs/SLIs, incident management, post-mortems)
- Experience with artifact management tools (JFrog Artifactory, Nexus, AWS CodeArtifact) and modern Git workflows
- Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices
