Lead Software Engineer

Lead the technical direction of AI-native product development, owning architecture, raising engineering standards, and helping the team ship with confidence. You bring strong fullstack depth, a pragmatic mindset, and the ability to grow the engineers around you. What You'll Do: Technical Leadership - Own key architecture decisions across backend, AI, and frontend; set and uphold engineering standards; identify technical risk and drive to closure; stay hands-on through code reviews and design. Engineering Design - Build scalable backend services and AI-powered features end-to-end; architect LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, and data flows; surface AI capabilities in frontend; champion test-first development, observability, and automated delivery. People & Collaboration - Mentor engineers through review and pairing; partner with product and other teams to align technical work with business outcomes; lead design discussions and help the team make good decisions faster. What We're Looking For: 8+ years of fullstack engineering experience; strong backend APIs and frontend skills; experience shipping AI or data-intensive features; backend & AI with Python, FastAPI, Redis, LangChain, RAG; frontend with React and TypeScript; CI/CD, containers, observability; leadership and mentoring experience; strong communication skills.
