Job Summary
The Lead Software Engineer at Cadence is responsible for R&D support of application and product engineers regarding customer problems and requests, involving problem analysis, debugging, and the development of new features to improve timing, area, and power synthesis results. This role involves significant research and innovation, requiring strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across distributed teams. Candidates should hold a B.E/BTech/ME/MTech in EE/ECE/CS or equivalent and possess 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 Years of experience in software engineering
- Experience in development of data analysis and debugging tools
- Troubleshooting and debugging physical verification software on large complex databases
- Collaborative development and testing of advanced functionality with multiple geographically distributed teams
