Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Neovest technology team. You will design, develop, and troubleshoot secure software solutions; review peers’ code; identify opportunities to automate recurring issues; lead architectural evaluations with external vendors and internal teams; champion communities of practice; and foster a diverse, inclusive, and respectful team culture. Core skills include advanced C#/.NET, multi-threaded and scalable middle-tier services, REST/SOAP/FIX integrations, secure file transfers, cloud-native technologies, CI/CD, and security. The role requires deep knowledge of markets and trading IT systems, experience with cloud-native architectures, and familiarity with data caching and message-distribution technologies, contributing across architecture, development, testing, and operational stability.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in AI/ML concepts, with 5+ years of hands-on experience
- Advanced proficiency in C#/.NET
- Extensive experience developing multi-threaded applications
- Proven track record in building scalable middle-tier services
- Experience integrating software with third-party and external providers using REST, SOAP, FIX, and secure file transfer protocols
- Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
- Demonstrated expertise in software applications and technical processes within disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and mobile technologies
- Deep knowledge of markets and trading industry IT systems
- Practical experience with cloud-native technologies
