Job Summary
Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices, and full stack systems to create solutions that help meet regulatory needs for Capital One. Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions using Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker and Kubernetes, and AWS tools/services. Mentor other engineers, participate in technology communities, and occasionally code or evaluate code. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, modern cloud architectures, and delivering scalable, compliant financial-technology solutions for millions of Americans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience
- At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
