Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer-Agentic/Java responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable, cloud-native backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and AWS. Responsibilities include developing production code, code reviews, solving complex problems beyond routine approaches, leading evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs, and driving adoption of new technologies. The role emphasizes secure, high-quality production code, operational stability, and a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect within an agile software engineering environment.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Advanced in Java programming
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies (CI/CD, Application Resiliency, Security)
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical AWS experience
- Familiarity with Spring Boot
