Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer responsible for driving technical leadership and delivering large-scale, mission-critical applications. Will partner with product owners to design and test changes before production, lead incident and problem management, and guide multiple complex projects toward standards and best practices. Must provide technical solutions with a focus on performance and security, engage in daily scrums, and collaborate with senior engineers and external groups to resolve complex issues. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week; in-person work is required at the Minneapolis location. Must contribute to architectural decisions, maintain engineering standards, and mentor teams toward delivering robust, secure software solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field
- Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related software engineering position
- 5 years of experience in design, development, support of medium to large scale mission critical applications and platforms
- 5 years of experience in Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, and Spring Security frameworks
- 3 years of .Net Core Application development and maintenance
- 5 years of SOA (service oriented architecture) experience
- 5 years of RESTful or SOAP web services
- 5 years of SQL/Oracle experience
- 3 years of client-side web development using AngularJS and JavaScript
- 3 years of Agile Methodologies
