Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, desktop, API, and microservices applications. Write production-quality code, execute automated RESTful and GraphQL tests, and validate business logic and data integrity across SQL and NoSQL databases. Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions to ensure stable execution and analyze pipeline failures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams during Agile ceremonies, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers while driving automation best practices. Provide accurate effort estimates, monitor quality dashboards, and recommend process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, and software development
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Kotlin, or Swift
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or Robot Framework
- Experience in API testing using Rest Assured, Postman, Karate, Newman, or GraphQL testing
- Proficiency in unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, NUnit, xUnit, or PyTest
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, including Cucumber, SpecFlow, or Behave
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Proficiency with version control systems, including Git, GitHub, Azure Repos, or Bitbucket
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Gatling
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced development environment
- Excellent analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and mentoring abilities
- Strong software engineering mindset with a passion for quality, continuous improvement, ownership, and accountability
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native applications, and containerized environments is preferred
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), AI-assisted testing tools, intelligent test automation, and secure software development practices is a plus
