Job Summary
This role requires leading the design, development, and delivery of automation test frameworks for a next generation software platform involving computer vision and machine learning. The successful candidate will be accountable for all aspects of the QA process, including planning and executing functional and data validation test plans. Responsibilities include collaborating with product management and engineering teams, ensuring quality and performance through automated testing, and managing defect analysis. Ideal candidates will have robust experience in software development and testing with a focus on automation, agile environments, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related field or 6+ years of technical experience as an SDE/T or similar role
- 4+ years of applied professional experience in an object-oriented programming language
- Experience developing and testing in Java
- Experience developing tests through Selenium libraries
- Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and scaling test automation frameworks
- Strong experience in developing and implementing End to End test strategies
- Prior work experience in and understanding of Agile
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience implementing software test automation into CI/CD process (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux OS)
- Experience with microservice architecture
- Experience with Backend testing (API testing)
- Experience with Jenkins or other CICD tools
