Job Summary
The Lead Software Developer (Java & React) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining systems using SQL, JAVA, React, and Python. This role includes mentoring and managing a team, understanding business processes, and providing technical support to users. Key skills required are proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, designing databases, writing complex SQL queries, familiarity with data pipelines, and working knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming. Candidates should possess strong communication and analytical skills, and team management capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Overall 6-9 years of experience working on SQL, JAVA, React, Python and team management
- Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficiency in designing database, writing complex, dynamic SQL queries, optimization, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with working on data pipeline using python
- Willingness to work on data visualization libraries for reports development
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid team management skills
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in fast-paced environments
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Capital markets and Mutual funds industry/data
- Familiarity with BI tools like SSRS and dashboard tools
- Experience in Java script/.NET
- Basic familiarity with development methods and processes such as Agile Scrum
