Job Summary
Supervise, direct, and coordinate janitorial staff, supplies, and equipment to ensure cleaning and maintenance tasks at the assigned property meet contractual specifications. Assign tasks based on job requirements, perform quality control against customer standards, and conduct inspections for safety compliance. Train new and existing staff on proper cleaning techniques, order and issue supplies, and respond to customer issues while escalating as necessary. Manage general equipment maintenance and special assignments. Maintain payroll records, performance documents, and disciplinary actions. Requires supervisory experience in commercial cleaning, strong leadership skills, and ability to use smartphones for scheduling. Monday to Friday, 5pm to 10pm (25 hours/week).
Required Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning
- 1+ year of relevant cleaning or facility maintenance experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment
- Ability to train staff, conduct inspections, and ensure safety compliance
- Tech-savvy; able to use smartphones/tablets for scheduling and reporting
- Organized, reliable, and able to work flexible hours
- Monday to Friday from 5pm to 10pm (25hrs a week)
