Job Summary
Lead Silicon Validation Engineer responsible for defining validation plans and strategies for MCU/MPU subsystems, developing test cases and coverage metrics, identifying corner cases and stress scenarios, conducting post-silicon validation on silicon platforms and emulators, supporting pre-silicon validation, debugging across hardware–software boundaries, and building validation automation in C/C++, Python, or scripting languages. Includes developing regression/validation frameworks, data capture/logging/analysis scripts, performing low-level hardware debugging (JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, trace tools), and collaborating with RTL design, verification, and firmware/software teams to review specifications and close coverage gaps. Requires Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering (or related) and 7+ years of semiconductor validation, with strong hands-on experience in MCU architectures, embedded systems, lab bring-up and silicon debug tools, and proven leadership over large distributed engineering teams.
