Job Summary
Lead Shuttle & Supply role focused on inventory management, purchasing, receiving, and record-keeping of vessel supplies and retail goods. Works with Sales & Service Manager and Charter Coordinator to satisfy needs for special charters and events, coordinates with crew and local vendors, and maintains accurate documentation and reports. Responsible for maintaining stock levels for Sitka and Juneau fleets, processing invoices, reconciling daily retail receipts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Requires driving a 15-passenger van, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work flexible weekends/holidays in Alaska's tour-season environment; aligns with Alaska Native cultural values and safety-focused operations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid US driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Experience with inventory control, stocking supplies and merchandise
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfort driving a 15-passenger van
- Ability to create and foster relationships with coworkers and vendors
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Must pass a security background check and 4‐panel pre‐employment drug test
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to coordinate with Sales & Service Manager and Charter Coordinator
- Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and reporting
- Familiarity with vendor management and receiving processes
- Experience with tour/retail inventory for vessels or similar operations
