Job Summary
Manage the La Pink Shopify storefront and integrated applications by leveraging expert-level knowledge of the Admin System, Liquid, and storefront APIs. Lead the development of custom themes using CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, ES6, and jQuery while debugging issues via browser consoles. Collaborate with designers and third-party solution providers to implement and troubleshoot apps, ensuring responsive layouts for mobile and web that align with business objectives. Maintain up-to-date expertise in the latest Shopify features and best practices to support the brand's growth in the skincare and personal care market.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of handling websites which are developed on Shopify platform
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an associated field
- Expert-level understanding of Shopify's Admin System, including shop creation, launch, and management
- Proficiency in CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, and DOM
- Adequate knowledge of Liquid for Shopify Themes and Shopify Stores
- Proven experience working with Shopify's storefront APIs and custom themes
- Prior experience working with third-party Shopify apps, including implementation and debugging
- In-depth understanding and expertise in jQuery, vanilla JavaScript, ES2015/ES6, and other trending JS frameworks
- Working knowledge of AJAX API, Meta fields, and other objects/properties within Shopify
- Top-notch ability to test and debug websites, specifically online stores, using a browser console and other similar tools
- Proven experience building responsive layouts for mobile and web
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills that facilitate interaction with multiple stakeholders
- Confidence, detail-oriented nature, and high motivation to contribute to a high-performing team
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
