Job Summary
Lead and coordinate daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, managing international shipping procedures including documentation, customs forms, and compliance. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries regarding shipping, tracking, and delivery issues while operating FedEx or UPS software to process packages and generate labels. Handle hazardous materials or metal goods as applicable, perform equipment start-up and shut-down procedures, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Complete necessary shipping documentation and reporting while working effectively with team members and leadership to meet shipping goals. Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role
- Proven experience with international shipping and customs procedures
- Strong proficiency with FedEx or UPS shipping software
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and computer skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with Hazardous Materials or metal shipping
