Job Summary
Lead I&C maintenance and cybersecurity for GE Vernova’s Ashalim Solar Plant Operations & Maintenance team. Accountable for planned and unplanned maintenance of instrumentation and control systems and equipment, while leading a team of technicians to ensure high equipment availability and compliance with GE technical and contractual obligations and EHS standards. Provide day-to-day leadership to I&C technicians, ensure maintenance activities comply with strategy approved by the Maintenance Manager, coordinate with GE field service and inspection personnel, manage subcontractors, analyze incident reports and implement corrective actions, review spare parts for daily activities, support training for site staff, ensure tools and equipment are available for I&C activities, track Field Safety Instructions, and collaborate with Operations, EHS, Procurement, Electrical, Mechanical Leads and the Customer. Requires willingness to work at heights, experience with DCS/PLC/HMI, cyber security, preventive/predictive maintenance, instrumentation troubleshooting, and leadership capabilities. Fluency in Hebrew and English; capable of balancing office and field work; strong communication with customer and MOE on cyber security aspects. Open to both genders. Relocation not provided.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an industrial facility (preferably industrial manufacturing plant or power station)
- Experience with DCS systems: Alspa, Controlcad, Controlsteam
- Experience with PLC/HMI: Wincc/Step7
- Experience with Cyber security philosophy and system implementation
- Experience with Preventive and Predictive maintenance
- Experience with troubleshooting and calibration of process sensors (pressure, temperature, transmitters, flow meters)
- Experience with 4-20mA control loops and HART-based controllers
- Experience with Modbus and Profibus communications
- Knowledge of steam turbines and AC generators (advantage)
- Knowledge of CEMS systems (advantage)
- Experience with Water and Water-steam cycle analytical measures
- Ability to lead a small team of employees and subcontractors
- Knowledge of CMMS Maximo
- Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, PPS
- Fluent in Hebrew and good English
- Leadership and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle conflicts constructively
- Trustworthy and reliable
