Lead ServiceNow Developer with strong AI/GenAI expertise

Job Summary
Design, develop, and implement innovative ServiceNow solutions integrating modern AI capabilities, including Now Assist, AI agents, Graph RAG, and Agentic RAG using LangGraph and LangChain. Build intelligent workflows that leverage enterprise knowledge and graph-based relationships to automate processes, while writing scalable Python and JavaScript code for custom applications, REST APIs, and business rules. Configure RAG pipelines for document ingestion and retrieval, integrate ServiceNow data with vector/graph databases, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, monitored technical solutions. Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system performance.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer
- Experience with ServiceNow development and configuration across areas such as: Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies / UI Actions, Workflows / Flow Designer, REST/SOAP integrations, ServiceNow APIs, Custom applications
- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform architecture and development best practices
- Experience configuring and extending Now Assist
- Hands-on experience developing or configuring AI agents on the ServiceNow platform
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents
- Hands-on experience building Graph RAG solutions
- Hands-on experience with Agentic RAG / Agentic AI architectures
- Experience designing AI agents that can reason, retrieve information, use tools, and execute actions
- Strong understanding of retrieval pipelines, embeddings, vector search, knowledge graphs, context management, and prompt engineering
- Experience integrating LLMs with enterprise applications and data sources
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph for building agentic workflows
- Strong experience with LangChain and its components for LLM/RAG application development
- Experience with Neo4j and knowledge graph concepts
- Experience designing graph-based retrieval and reasoning workflows
- Experience working with APIs and integrating AI services with enterprise platforms
- Strong JavaScript development skills, particularly in the context of ServiceNow
- Strong Python programming skills for AI/GenAI integrations and backend development
- Ability to develop production-quality, modular, testable, and maintainable code
- 12 years of development experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ServiceNow AI Search, Now Assist, Virtual Agent, Knowledge Management, or Intelligent Automation
- Experience with LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar technologies
- Experience with vector databases and semantic search technologies
- Understanding of knowledge graph modeling, graph algorithms, and graph-based retrieval
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and enterprise integrations
- Experience implementing AI solutions with enterprise security, governance, and responsible AI considerations
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD)
