Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment and refrigeration units, including grills, fryers, ovens, and coolers. Communicate status updates for parts orders and repairs with branch support and customers while completing service calls accurately and on time. Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked and maintain vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Whaley safety standards. Meet on-call requirements and perform maintenance and service for the Southeast region.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience in commercial kitchen repair and or refrigeration
- Must be 18 years of age
- Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen
- Valid Driver's license
- driving record that aligns with our safety standard
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and soft skills
- Good driving record
- Meets on-call requirements
Desired Qualifications
- an automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background
- Journeyman License
- CFESA certification
