Job Summary
Lead Service Technician responsible for maintenance, repair, and replacement of vehicle tires, including mounting/dismounting, balancing, puncture repair, patching, tire rotation, and tire sizing. Provides expert tire services, oil changes and preventive maintenance, undercar mechanical work, and coaching/mentoring other Service Technicians. Engages customers with clear explanations of tire needs and recommendations, while maintaining safety protocols and accurate service records; duties include inspecting vehicles for wear, coordinating with store inventory, and ensuring proper operation of tire equipment and fluids. Requires safety-focused workmanship, basic car component knowledge, and strong customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Technical or vocational training courses in automotive repair, tire technology, or a related field a plus
- Willingness to pursue TIA certification with company support and assistance
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
