Job Summary
Lead Server at Cedarbrook Senior Living will oversee and participate in daily dining room operations for residents and guests, ensuring professional service, proper training of dining room staff, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities include executing daily meal services, maintaining a like-new dining room appearance, resolving complaints in collaboration with Dining Service leadership, planning service setup and side-work, coordinating trainings and in-service meetings, ensuring a safe work environment, and providing guidance to dining team members to uphold high standards of service for residents. Experience in senior living or healthcare and knowledge of industry practices are preferred; ServSafe certifications are also preferred. Location details: Rochester, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge of safety and sanitation
- Professional communication skills including verbal, written, and listening skills
- Must be self-motivated, organized and able to problem solve situations
- Senior living or healthcare experience preferred
- ServSafe Food Handlers Certification preferred
- ServSafe Michigan Allergen Certification preferred
