Job Summary

Lead/Senior Substation Electrical Engineer responsible for overseeing high-voltage substation projects, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with design standards and codes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 8+ years of experience in substation engineering
  • Proven expertise in high-voltage substation design (69kV to 500kV)

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient in power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, ASPEN, CYME or CDEGS
  • Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD-3D, Inventor and Revit for substation design and modeling
  • MicroStation or Bentley experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience mentoring or managing engineering teams on medium to large-scale projects
