Job Summary
Lead the Security Operations Center team during assigned shifts by serving as the primary escalation point and initial decision-maker for incident prioritization, triage, and crisis containment. Oversee real-time monitoring of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems while coordinating responses to life safety incidents, including dispatching security officers, Emergency Response Teams, and external partners. Evaluate and classify incidents by severity, ensuring accurate documentation and appropriate escalation to Security leadership and business units. Mentor SOC Operators through hands-on training, performance feedback, and structured knowledge-sharing sessions to maintain adherence to SOPs. Monitor social media and open-source intelligence platforms to identify threats, synthesize data for decision-making, and lead post-incident reviews to refine playbooks and operational workflows. Manage sensitive situations with discretion while supporting the development of data metrics and operational dashboards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center, GSOC, or similar command center environment
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity within physical security, corporate security, or a venue security environment
- Advanced understanding and troubleshooting capabilities for CCTV, Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), and security software platforms utilized by the organization
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience mentoring, training, and directing team members
- Ability to influence personnel who do not report directly to you to accomplish operational objectives
