Job Summary
The Lead Security Officer role combines frontline security duties with supervisory responsibilities for a professional sports venue. Responsibilities include payroll processing for security personnel, accounts payable activities, building and maintaining staffing grids and schedules (ensuring part-time officers do not exceed weekly hours), coordinating staffing for special events, and collaborating with the Director of Security and Event Managers to plan resources. The position oversees and implements security policies and procedures, assists in developing internal training programs aligned with industry standards, maintains physical security measures and technologies in compliance with NFL Best Practices for Stadium Security, and provides direction and guidance to both full- and part-time Security Officers. This role supports vacation, sick leave, and time-off management to ensure continuous security services, and participates in meetings to align staffing with event needs. Requires the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment, excellent judgment, strong communication and organizational skills, and the capacity to obtain Basic First Aid and CPR/AED certification within 12 months of hire. The role is full-time and may require evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Some college education preferred; preference given to Criminal Justice, Security or related fields of study
- Corporate security, military or law enforcement experience
