Job Summary
Oversee scheduling, training, and supervision of security staff while conducting training classes on CPR, fire fighting, and general security procedures. Monitor surveillance equipment, answer alarms, investigate disturbances, and respond to all emergencies including evacuations. Check identification to ensure guests are over 21, assist sick or injured patrons, and report unsafe conditions or incidents. Drive company vehicles for patrols and transport, perform fills and credits, and resolve guest complaints. Work 8-hour shifts requiring physical stamina, with quarterly drills covering all emergency protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Louisiana gaming license
- Must obtain and maintain a current State Responsible Vendor Permit
- Ability to work under pressure by maintaining composure when exposed to stress
- Excellent writing skills
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word & Excel
- Basic knowledge of civil and criminal laws
- Basic knowledge of customer service and security experience
- These skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and two years customer service experience or through closely related experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
- Must be able to physically stand for an 8 hour shift
