Lead Security Engineer

Job Summary

Execute creative security solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build secure software preventing misuse and malicious behavior. Develop high-quality production code, review others' work, and minimize vulnerabilities by evolving protocols aligned with industry insights and governmental regulations. Conduct discovery, vulnerability, penetration testing, and threat scenarios across multiple organizational assets, utilizing enterprise-authorized AI for threat modeling and analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand security needs and recommend business modifications during vulnerability periods. Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within SDLC routines to strengthen testing and control validation. Work with teams in different geographical locations. Requires 5+ years of Java and Python in cloud environments, plus deep GenAI and Agentic AI expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 plus years of experience Java and Python Programming languages in Cloud Environments (Public/Private)
  • Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise level security solutions
  • Strong hands-on AI/ML engineering skills ( ML frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow, MLOps with CI/CD and model deployment/monitoring)
  • Deep GenAI experience (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, embeddings/vector databases), and Agentic AI expertise (tool/function calling, orchestration frameworks, multi-agent workflows, evaluation/guardrails, and responsible AI/security)
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support security engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code/security recommendations before adoption, escalating uncertainty and ensuring outcomes align to security, resiliency, and auditability expectations
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle Development , Testing and Implementation
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
