Job Summary
Design and implement enterprise-level security solutions within the financial services industry using Java Spring, Python, and AWS infrastructure. Lead threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing while managing CI/CD pipelines and application resiliency. Develop highly scalable, event-driven architectures handling millions of requests using relational and NoSQL databases. Apply advanced agile methodologies and object-oriented design patterns to secure the full software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on security engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Planning, designing, and implementing enterprise level security solutions
- Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Experience with threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability, and penetration testing
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Application development experience for enterprise environments with strong analytical, problem solving skills
- 5+ years of applied experience working in Java: Spring, Spring boot frameworks, Python
- Hands on experience working on Relational/NoSql databases, SQL, ORM technologies, AWS - EC2, IAM, S3, Lambda etc.
- Proficiency in developing highly scalable applications which can handle millions of requests and event driven architecture
- Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts, analysis and design using common design patterns
