Job Summary
Lead Security Engineer to own security across cloud infrastructure and applications for a Series A fintech. You will design and implement security solutions across cloud infra and ML/AI workflows, oversee SOC2 compliance and vulnerability management, drive incident response and regular penetration testing, and promote security best practices organization-wide. The role requires securing cloud-native environments, enabling HITL processes for ML models, and collaborating with the CTO and broader engineering team to maintain a strong security posture using a stack including Python, Node.js, TypeScript, Postgres, and BigQuery. Location: San Francisco, CA (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of dedicated security engineering experience
- Deep technical proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong background in Application Security and securing cloud-native environments
- Experience or comfort with Python, Node.js, TypeScript, Postgres, and BigQuery
