Lead Securities Operations Specialist - Citizen-Development/Analytics Transformation

Job Summary
Lead responsibilities include directing analytics and automation initiatives within Wells Fargo Securities Operations, delivering cross-functional, high-impact solutions; identify process improvements in areas such as client onboarding, cash payments, funding and custodial operations, and securities settlement; manage and mentor teams, oversee complex lifecycle initiatives, and resolve escalated issues; collaborate with peers and mid-to-senior managers to resolve issues and drive new initiatives; develop expertise across core operational processes and apply independent judgment to optimize trade settlement workflows; lead implementation of new or revised processes and coordinate initiatives with operation teams; leverage strong programming and data skills (Python, SQL, Alteryx, PowerBI, PowerApps, Copilot) and familiarity with GenAI concepts to prototype and scale solutions; communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and maintain alignment with risk and compliance requirements; on-site in Charlotte, NC with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Securities Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
