Job Summary
Establish the list of documents for your field of activity based on tender analysis and project strategy. Plan basic and detailed design activities, manage execution progress, and coordinate engineering documentation for procurement, manufacturing, and site erection. Lead and coordinate your design team while ensuring on-time delivery of design and partner documents to stakeholders with suitable quality. Anticipate delivery issues, recommend changes, and analyze customer technical requirements to ensure compliance and cost optimization. Represent customer interests in design decisions and check design subcontractor deliverables. Manage design time spent in man-hours and implement project strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree - electrical or mechanical, function of field of activity involved
- Good level of years engineering experience in the related activity/discipline
- Experience in project & EPC type environment in T&D, Power Gen or Oil &Gas industry
- 2 to 4 Medium Set projects in position of Lead Engineer
- Experience of project technical management processes
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary team's context with multiple interfaces
- Several experiences in managing externally subcontracted design work package of various sizes
- Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution industry
