Job Summary
Establish the document list for your field of activity based on tender analysis and project strategy. Evaluate engineering workload and deliverables dates, committing to budgets in man days and time delivery while ensuring on-time design quality. Lead and coordinate your design team, managing detailed execution progress and requesting technical coordination meetings with partners or key suppliers to synchronize designs. Analyze customer technical requirements, represent customer interests in design decisions, and look for cost optimization during all design phases. Check design subcontractor deliverables and propose solutions for design issues to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree - electrical or mechanical, function of field of activity involved
- Good level of years engineering experience in the related activity/discipline
- Experience in project & EPC type environment in T&D, Power Gen or Oil &Gas industry
- 2 to 4 Medium Set projects in position of Lead Engineer
- Experience of project technical management processes
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary team's context with multiple interfaces
- Several experiences in managing externally subcontracted design work package of various sizes
- Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution industry
