Job Summary
Lead Scrum Master and Release Train Engineer for Agile Release Trains (ARTs) supporting US Government unmanned/autonomous ship development. Facilitate PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt to drive collaboration and transparency; monitor Agile execution metrics; align product management, engineering, and system integration; coach and develop teams; drive SAFe/Lean delivery adoption; ensure readiness and execution of system releases across development, test, integration, and production; provide timely status updates to program leadership and government stakeholders; mentor junior members and manage performance and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline OR Master’s degree in a related field
- 2+ years of experience leading Agile teams or programs in SAFe or large-scale Agile environments
- Experience as Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer in Agile/SAFe environments
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies across multiple teams and coordinating program-level execution
- Experience managing risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordination in large-scale programs
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate within SAFe or Agile frameworks supporting enterprise systems
- Full-time onsite in Arlington VA
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
