Job Summary
Lead and support the day-to-day activities of the Screen & Digital Print team, ensuring production priorities and deadlines are achieved. Use screen-printing equipment from mixing raw materials through printing and curing to cutting and inspection of finished components, while utilizing digital printing equipment for aerospace signage and PL inserts. Complete part inspections to ensure conformity to aerospace standards and act as a point of contact for production, quality, and process-related queries. Provide guidance, support, and training to team members to ensure processes and quality standards are consistently followed. Identify and resolve production issues, escalating significant concerns to the Head of Operations, and contribute to R&D trials and process improvements. Work 37.5 hours per week with Fridays closing at 1pm.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience within a screen printing, digital printing or manufacturing environment
- High attention to detail; ability to accurately follow instructions and work procedures (essential)
- Ability to meet all production and quality standards
- Experience of MS Office applications to intermediate standard
- Ability to operate in and contribute to a safe work environment
- Ability to prioritise workload and support others in meeting production requirements
- Good communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction, guidance and support to team members
- Flexibility in dealing with changing priorities
- Manual lifting
- Use of basic hand and machine tools; safe handling of solvent glues and alcohol cleaner
- Qualified to "A" Level (or equivalent) in appropriate subjects

- Previous experience of supporting or leading colleagues within a production environment would be advantageous
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new processes and skills
- Highly motivated and dedicated to exceed customer expectations
- Experience of working to tight timescales, to meet key production deadlines
