Job Summary
Direct research strategies in partnership with the Principal Investigator while designing and conducting studies to investigate basic science or clinical research questions. Develop new experimental procedures, protocols, and techniques; identify emerging trends; and process, organize, and summarize data to interpret results and generate hypotheses. Monitor data quality and integrity, troubleshoot instrument issues, and provide input on equipment acquisition, maintenance, and decommissioning. Present research internally and externally, participate in peer review, and train junior staff. Anticipate laboratory operational needs and promote safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific area
- Twelve (12) years of relevant work experience
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience with a Master's degree
- Seven (7) years of relevant work experience with a PhD
