Job Summary
Lead Scaffold Erector who designs and erects scaffolds and acts as a mentor/coach to the scaffold crew. Must work with tools, ensure OSHA-compliant scaffolding practices, and apply knowledge of scaffold materials and loads. Requires ability to manage a small crew on site, operate at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks. Role supports on-site work for large-scale projects in the Orlando area, with on-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as Scaffold Erector or approved equivalent
- Ability to work safely at considerable heights
- Ability to manage a small crew under supervision of Foreman
- Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations regarding scaffolding
- Knowledge of various types of scaffolding materials and load calculations
- Ability to safely erect and dismantle scaffolding with appropriate tools
- Physical ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 40 pounds or more
